Azerbaijan tourist numbers: More than three million tourists and business people would have visited Azerbaijan last year, according to the country’s Minister of Culture Abulfaz Garayev, a seven-fold increase since 2001. With visitor numbers for 2013 standing at 2.5 million, Garayev is confident that the three million barrier will be broken when the statistics for last year are published.
