France and Azerbaijan were today on the verge of signing dozens of commercial agreements worth billions of dollars, according to Azerbaijan’s Minister of Economy and Industry Shahin Mustafayev. He said that France had already invested around $4.2bn in his country’s economy, including in Azerbaijan’s first telecommunications satellite Azerspace and in a plant for solid waste recycling as well as in several energy projects.
