President Aliyev targets FDI outside oil sector: Azerbaijan needs to focus on attracting overseas investment into the country’s wider non-oil economy, the country’s President Aliyev said this week. “Foreign investors are understandably more interested in investing in our oil and gas sectors” he acknowledged. “We will, however, we also be inviting them to invest in other sectors, and we will be establishing industrial and agricultural parks to attract foreign investors.” Azer News
