Kazakh Russian exports set to increase as EEU looms large

Kazakh Russian exports Kazakhstan is ready to export  a combination of raw materials semi-finished and finished products worth $6.7bn to Russia as the two countries begin to strengthen ties under the auspices of the Eurasian Economic Union. Among key projects will be the AvtoVAZ car plant in the East Kazakhstan administrative capital  of Ust-Kamenogorsk which will assemble vehicles  from parts imported from Russia or manufactured in Kazakhstan and the sold both into the domestic market, Western Siberia and the Altai Republic.
