Kazakh-Turkish business forum: Kazakhstan and Turkey this week signed a series of contracts covering 19 industrial, transport and infrastructure projects worth a total of $800m, Kazakhstan’s Ministry of Investment and Development announced today. The projects concerned include the construction of plants for the production of aluminum radiators, window and door accessories, waterproofing and roofing materials, steel pipes and fiber-reinforced concrete; and for the development of commercial and military vessels, ship repair and maritime transport. The official signing of the agreements took place at the Kazakh-Turkish business forum that is currently taking place in Astana.
