Kazakhstan to Turkmenistan rail link: The new railway running from Kazakhstan to Iran via Turkmenistan will be carrying 15 million tons of freight each year by 2020 and will give a significant boost to bilateral trade between the two Central Asian countries, according to Magtymguly Akmyradov, Turkmenistan’s Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Kazakhstan.
