Turkmenistan-Iran rail link opened by Rouhani and Nazarbayev

Turkmenistan-Iran rail link: President Hassan Rouhani of Iran and President Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov of Turkmenistan  are  today due to officially open the railway corridor between the two countries at the border stations of Inche-Burun in Iran and Etrek in Turkmenistan. The 900-km-long railway link  runs from the Kazakh steppes across the Turkmen Karakumy desert to  Iran’s northern Gulistan province. Key stations along its  route include Uzen (Kazakhstan) Kyzylgaya, Bereket and Etrek  (Turkemenistan) and Gorgan (Iran).
