The Kyrgyz tourist sector was the country’s third largest revenue generator after energy and defence , the director of Kyrgyzstan’s Tourism Department Maksat Chakiyev said today. He added that it held good growth potential,particularly in the areas of recreational tourism, ecotourism, adventure tourism, cultural projects relating to the Great Silk Road and from its 23 ski resorts.
