Alcohol import duties: In an attempt to stem the growth of the black market in the sale of vodka and other alcoholic beverages, the Russian Government and the Treasury today agreed to freeze alcohol import duties until the end of 2015. The move is intended to put a stop to the illegal import of cheap vodka from other member countries of the Customs Union, which is said to have grown by as much as 50% in recent years. rbc
