Fast track citizenship: The Ministry of the Economy has decided to deny property developers and retailers (with the exception of car and motorbike dealers) access to its new system of granting fast-track citizenship. To be eligible to apply, individual entrepreneurs will have to have worked in Russia for more than three years, be able to prove an annual turnover of at least RUB10m while investors will be required to have a 10% stake in the Russian company with a capitalisation of at least RUB100m, or to have been paying a minimum RUB6m annual income tax for the past three years.
