Russian subsoil law amended to relax Arctic Shelf restrictions

Russian subsoil law: Russian Natural Resources Ministry has amended the country’s  subsoil law to allow three independent oil companies to work on the Arctic shelf. The three companies to beneefit from the relaxation of Arctic Shelf restrictions are Lukoil, exploration operator Severneftegas and Crimea’s oil and gas company Chernomorneftegaz. ITAR-TASS
