2015 Sino-Russian trade down 28% with more of the same expected

Sino-Russian trade: Trade turnover between China and Russia dropped by 27.8% to $64.2bn last year according to China’s customs department, with Chinese exports to Russia down $34,4% ($32.9bn) and Russian exports to China down 19.1% ($31.4bn).
“Last year was relatively challenging and difficult for international trade. We think this year is going to be the same in some ways,” Chinese customs spokesman Huang Songping said, adding that the future of Sino-Russian trade would depend on the economic environment in the two countries and on the situation in the world in general, he said, according to TASS.
