Belarus and Russia ready to remove remaining trade barriers

Belarus and Russia have prepared a list of joint measures to remove the remaining barriers to mutual trade in goods and services, Russian President Vladimir Putin announced at the session of the Supreme State Council of the Union State yesterday. The two countries were also close to establishing a  single innovative space where they actively cooperate actively in the nuclear industry, biotechnology, space and other high-tech sectors, he said, and enterprises from both Belarus and Russia will be given greater opportunity participate in each other’s government’s procurement programmes.
