Benetton puts faith in Russia’s long-term growth

Benetton: The Italian clothing retailer United Colors of Benetton has decided to defy the dangers of a weakening rouble, a slowing economy and and the spectre of further sanctions being imposed on Russia by the West by re-opening its flagship Moscow store and pledging to roll out a further 40 outlets across Russia over the next three years.”If we look at the long term, there will be growth: We want to be here, we want to be associated with this market, and we want this market to be an important part of our portfolio,” its chief executive Marco Airoldi told The Moscow Times earlier this week.
