Binnopharm and Fresenius Kabi: Sistema’s pharmaceutical subsidiary Binnopharm has entered into a JV with Germany’s Fresenius Kabi. Binnopharm generated sales of $104m last year from a combination of intravenous drugs, infusion solutions and active pharmaceutical ingredients, and a Fresenius Kabi spokesman said that its 51% stake in the JV would give it “an excellent platform for further growth” and domestic manufacturing capacity in Russia.
