Brazilian meat imports helping to fill Russia’s European void

Brazilian meat imports: Brazil is supplying Russia with almost 40% of its meat imports and has begun reducing exports to other countries to meet Russian demand, the President of the Brazilian Association of Animal Protein Francisco Turra said  this week. It is one of a number of Latin American countries including Chile, Argentina, Paraguay, Ecuador and Peru whom the Ministry of Agriculture claims is looking to take advantage of the current ban on EU food imports.
