BRICS and MINT grouping bigger than G7, says IMF

BRICS and MINT: The combined GDPs of the  seven largest emerging markets are now bigger  those of the G7 industrialised nations, according to the IMF’s World Economic Outlook that was published this week, The economies of Brazil, Russia, India, China Mexico, Indonesia and Turkey have a combined GDP of $37.8 trillion (when measured by PPP) compared to $34.5 trillion for the old G7 countries of  Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, the UK and the US.
