Chinese investment in Russia: By 2020, China’s direct investment in the Russian economy will have increased by 700% and will amount to $28.56bn, according to Russia’s Ministry of Economic Development. The prediction came after Economic Development Minister Alexei Ulyukayev met with China’s Minister of Commerce Gao Hucheng at the APEC forum in China, where cooperation in space projects and in the development of Russia’s Far East were also discussed.
