Special Economic Zone: Russia’s President Vladimir Putin last week signed a document officially ratifying the establishment of the Crimean and Sevastopol Special Economic Zone. The law simplifies visa requirements for entry to Russia’s new territory; reduces income tax and social contributions; and provides for the duty-free import of a range of goods, and equipment.
