Fridman to sell North Sea gas fields: Russian billionaire Mikhail Fridman has told The Financial Times that he intends to sell about a dozen gas fields in the North Sea that he bought off German utility company RWE’s oil and gas production subsidiary DEA through his LetterOne holding company earlier this month. The UK government had threatened to take legal action against LetterOne as it was worried about the negative impact that the sanctions on Russia would have on the fields’ development if they were owned by a Russian.
