Harbin, capital of China’s western Heilongjiang province, is to hold the second Russia-China EXPO in November or December to coincide with a meeting of the countries’ prime ministers. “The EXPO is … a unique platform for the establishment of direct contacts between entrepreneurs,”Russia’ s trade representative in China Alexey Gruzdev told reporters on Friday. It played an important role redressing “the current misbalance of information within our trade relations,” he added. MoUs and other agreements worth around $3bn were either signed or instigated at the first EXPO held in Harbin last June.
