Magnetic levitation transport system set to slash travel times

Magnetic levitation transport system: Rosatom and Russian Railways are to join forces to build  a high-speed railway transport systems the works on the basis of magnetic levitation and which enables trains to travel at 500km per hour. Japan, China and South Korea have already installed similar systems and the new venture would, if successful, cut the 9,300 km journey  from Moscow to Vladivostok  down to under 20 hours. BFM
