Rostec signs new titanium deal with Boeing and plans second plant to meet demand

Rostec signs new titanium deal with Boeing:  The Russian titanium manufacturer  VSMPO-AVISMA, has clinched a new long-term  supply contract with Boeing, it was announced today.  Sergey Chemezov, CEO of the state-run holding company Rostec said that more than 40% of Boeing’s titanium  – and 60%  of Airbus’s – came from VSMPO-AVISMA and that it was planning to open a second plant in the near future to meet with demand.
