Rostelecom-Tele2 mobile merger: Rostelecom today announced that it has finalised the deal to create a mobile joint venture with the country’s fourth-biggest wireless carrier Tele2 Russia. It will own 45% of the news venture while the state-controlled bank VTB bank which bought Tele2 Russia from Nordic telecoms group Tele2 for $3.6 bn in 2013 will control a maroty 55% stake.
