Russia bans all Bulgarian food imports

Bulgarian food imports: Russia has banned the import of all agricultural produce from Bulgaria after authorities in Sofia acknowledged that a number of export and re-export agricultural certificates had been falsified as companies tried to pass off goods from other sanctioned Western countries as their own.
A wide range of food imports from Bulgaria were already subject to Russia’s food embargo, which Moscow introduced last year in response to Western sanctions imposed on the country over its role in the Ukraine crisis.
