Russian bankruptcies reach 2009 levels

Russian bankruptcies: The number of Russian companies filing for bankruptcy has grown from a trickle in 2013 to a flood equivalent to the darkest days of 2009, according to report published yesterday by the Center for Macroeconomic Analysis (CMASF). The 20 largest bankruptcies accounted for 30% of all the revenues lost through companies going out of business in the first quarter of 2015, the report found, with the construction industry among the sectors hardest hit.
