Russian freight tariffs for foreign trucks set to double

Russian freight tariffs: The Russian government is to raise fees for all foreign freight vehicles using the country’s roads by 50% according to an update posted on several government websites at the end of last week with annual tariffs due to double  from $900 $1,800 and the daily fee from $6 to $12, Russia is also to levy the charges on  Latvian and Lithuanian trucks for the first time after the two Baltic states recently began charging Russian heavy goods drivers.
