Russian tablet imports fell by 8% to 1.66 million in the first quarter of the year compared to the first three months of 2013 and in financial terms the market shrank by 34.1% over the same period, according to IDC. The publishing and research company attributes the slowdown to a combination of market saturation and the growing popularity of home-grown brands such as DNS, Prestigio and teXet. ITAR-TASS
