Soyuz 2 rockets set to support International Space Station

Soyuz 2 rockets: Russia’s Federal Space Agency Roscosmos is to phase out its older rockets and replace them with the newer Soyuz 2 series for the transportation of personnel to the International Space Station. Some versions of the Soyuz 2 rocket series are already in use for satellite launches from the Baikonur Cosmodrome in Kazakhstan and the European Space Agency launch facility in French Guiana.
