Talks between Poland’s state-controlled gas distributor PGNiG and Gazprom over pricing are making progress, CEO Mariusz Zawisza insisted yesterday. In May this year, PGNiG announced that it was taking Gazprom to the Stockholm Arbitration Tribunal in a dispute over the gas price formula with the Russian company that is responsible for more than half of its entire gas supplies. “Talks are of a quite advanced nature, but I can say nothing more at the moment,” he told a news conference.
