Taman port expansion to go ahead

Taman port expansion: Despite the Russian government’s tacit decision to effectively abandon the development of the port of Taman and redirect funds to the ports of Crimea located on the other side of the Strait of Kerch, the owner of Tamanneftegas Michel Litvak has announced that he plans to double the port’s oil and LPG transshipment capacity in Taman and to build three new terminals there – one each for dry goods, grain and fertilisers. The upgrade is expected to cost in the region of  RUB40bn. Kommersant
