Vietnam set to agree first Free Trade Zone with EEU

Vietnam:  Following a meeting  with the General Secretary of Vietnam’s  Communist Party Nguyen Phu Trong on Tuesday, Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Vietnam was close to agreeing the establishment of Free Trade Zone with the Eurasian Economic Eunion (EEU).  Hanoi to Vladivostok flights to begin in spring

Vietnam’s only privately-owned airline Vietjet Air has  announced that it is to start operating direct flights from Hanoi to Vladivostok in May and will add further services to Ho Chi Minh City, Nha Trang, Danang, Hue and Phu Quoc  later in the year. It is also hoping to begin flights to and from other Russian cities and to offer destinations in Cambodia, Thailand and Singapore.  Vietjet Air currently only has 16 aircraft in its fleet but has a further 100 on order and plans to become a major player in the Asian market.
