Tajik farmlands rented to Chinese cotton and cereal company

Tajik farmlands: China’s Xinyang Inhai company has rented 6,300 hectares of farmland in the Dangara and Yovon districts of Tajikistan’s Khatlon province, the country’s  Ministry of Agriculture confirmed this week.
The company has introduced the latest agricultural technologies to make the fields productive and efficient, the ministry claims. There are approximately 865,000 hectares of arable land in Tajikistan. Times of Central Asia
