Jeremy Clarkson offered job by state-run Zvezda TV station

Jeremy Clarkson, the Top Gear presenter recently sack by the BBC for assaulting and verbally abusing a colleague, as been offered a job as TV host by the Ministry of Defence’s Zvezda television station.“The Russian Armed Forces Broadcasting Company ZVEZDA expresses deep honour to you and kindly asks for cooperation. We would like to invite you to be a presenter of motoring show on our TV Channel in Moscow,”  the Zvezda management said in an  open letter published yesterday. A spokesperson for Clarkson  told the network that the presenter was considering the offer and that talks were planned in Moscow for the beginning of April.
