A consortium led by Hyundai Engineering is joining forces with Lukoil to build and supply the equipment for a gas processing plant at the Kandym field in Uzbekistan’s Bukhara region. The plant will have an annual processing capacity of 8.1bn m³ of the gas being extracted from Kandym’s six gas condensate fields. Kandym is part of Uzbekistan’s Kandym-Khauzak-Shady network of fields, whose combined confirmed reserves currently stand at 329bn m³.
